OBTAINING, AND KEEPING REPTILES AND FROGS, PRESERVING SPECIMENS, PHOTOGRAPHY, THEIR CONSERVATION, ETC.
I advise those who intend to, or already keep reptiles and frogs to read all following sections of this book, in particular the section on conservation. Throughout most of the following parts of this book I deal in generalizations that apply to most, but not all referred to species.
Prior to taking the words that follow as gospel one should refer back to my descriptions of habits and habitats when necessary of given species and, seek further information elsewhere if needed. Above all, one should maintain a conservationist and humanitarian attitude to all reptiles and
frogs, on an individual and species level.

The above was from the book Australian Reptiles and Frogs by Raymond Hoser and now available on a fantastic CD-Rom along with a vast amount of other information, papers and the like on reptiles, frogs and other wildlife.
