Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to formally protest the illegal use of tongs to inflict pain, suffering and death on snakes by so-called snake catchers and handlers. The handling of snakes with tongs that may inflict fatal injuries is illegal under cruelty to animals laws, and also contrary to wildlife laws that state that venomous snakes are "protected" by law. This protection includes from cruelty inflicted by incompetant persons using tongs to catch or handle snakes.

Please can you immediately act to stop the renegade "snake handlers" within your jurisdiction who use tongs to harm snakes.
