You know your science is good when others steal your discoveries five years later and claim them as their own ....
Two species of frogs given second synonym names by the Wolfgang Wuster gang of taxonomic vandals.

frog species Australia

Taxonomic vandalism AGAIN by recently elected ICZN Commissioner, Glenn SHEA - do not say you were not warned! (Two Australian tree frogs have been illegally renamed)

These are:

Litoria pyrina Purser, Doughty, Rowley, Bohme, Donnellan, Anstis, Mitchell, Shea, Amey, Mitchell, and Catullo, 2025 which is an illegally coined junior synonym of Colleeneremia chunda Hoser, 2020

and

Litoria larisonans Purser, Doughty, Rowley, Bohme, Donnellan, Anstis, Mitchell, Shea, Amey, Mitchell, and Catullo, 2025, which is an illegally coined junior synonym of Colleeneremia watdat Hoser, 2020

The two relevant papers are:

Purser, W. A., Doughty, P., Rowley, J. J. L., Bohme, W., Donnellan, S. C., Anstis, M., Mitchell, N., Shea, G. N., Amey, A., Mitchell, B. A. and Catullo, R. A.. 2025. Systematics of the Little Red Tree Frog, Litoria rubella (Anura: Pelodryadidae), with the description of two new species from eastern Australia and arid Western Australia. Zootaxa (PRINO Online only) 5594:269-315.

and the paper from where the more recent alleged discoveries were stolen from is:

Hoser, R. T. 2020. For the first time ever! An overdue review and reclassification of Australasian Tree Frogs (Amphibia: Anura: Pelodryadidae), including formal descriptions of 12 tribes, 11 subtribes, 34 genera, 26 subgenera, 62 species and 12 subspecies new to science. AJH 44-46:1-192.

Holotype details for each are as follows:

Litoria larisonans Purser, Doughty, Rowley, Bohme, Donnellan, Anstis, Mitchell, Shea, Amey, Mitchell, and Catullo, 2025, Zootaxa, 5594: 305. Holotype: WAM R174603, by original designation. Glenn Shea, Jodi Rowley and the other people who have illegally coined these duplicate names for previously named species of frogs, are key members of the notorious Wolfgang Wuster gang. Taxonomic vandalism is very negative for both science and conservation of the relevant organisms. The dual nomenclature they create is illegal and in breach of the long established rules of science.
