Taxonomic VandalismYes, on 19 June 2025, seventeen genera of tree frogs were unlawfully given duplicate synonym names by the Wolfgang Wuster / Adam Britton gang of thieves and dog rapists.
On 19 June 2025, a paper was published by the gang in a PRINOOO (Peer reviewed in name only, online only) paper.
The paper by Stephen Charles Donnellan and 12 other stooges, including nominative ICZN Commissioner Glenn Shea, a serial offender, unlawfully renamed 17 genera of tree frogs.
These had been previously named by Hoser (2020) in a massive three volume monograph.
Donnellan et al. also named two other apparently valid genera in the same paper.
The data relied upon by the later authors was in the main lifted from Hoser (2020) without attribution in violation of the rules of the ICZN and Copyright laws.
So that there is no confusion as to the correct scientific names, published below is a list of all 20 names proposed by Donnellan et al. (2020), including the three that are apparently valid and derived from further splits of the generic arrangement of Hoser (2020).

This most recent act of anti-science Taxonomic Vandalism by Shea and others at the behest of the Wuster gang of thieves is disturbing in the extreme. This gang continue to attack the ICZN and the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature and remain the biggest threat to the Code in over 200 years.
