The notorious pseudoscientist Fred Kraus of the University of Michigan is at it again!
For those who do not know of him, Fred Kraus is a hard-core thief and criminal closely associated with better known Adam Britton.
Britton has recently been jailed for stealing peoples pet dogs, anally raping them and then posting the videos online on the dark web.
Of the same cohort, known as the Wolfgang Wuster gang, Fred Kraus is best known for serial acts of defrauding government for grants to fake scientific research and allegedly discover species that he and everyone else knows were named years ago.
The most recent effort by Fred Kraus was to rename the species of snake Pilgerus mooreae Hoser, 2014 as Aspidomorphus dimorphus Kraus, 2025 as has happened in May 2025.
Now no scientific journal in their right mind would bother faking scientific data and the like except for the notorious online journal, Zootaxa, better known as Zootoxic. Yes we use the term journal with trepidation.
But of course, to bypass anything like the supposedly dreaded peer review Kraus published his paper in Zootaxa.
Not only did Kraus breach both the International Copyright laws and the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (Ride et al. 1999), a law which binds all publishing zoologists, but he even invoked what is known as the Kaiser doctrine to refuse to cite the works of Hoser in any way in his paper.
We know this, because Kraus says this in his own online paper.
For those that do not know, the Kaiser doctrine, republished most recently in a document known as Wuster et al. (2021), it is a war cry manifesto, signed by Kraus, Wuster, Britton (the dog rapist) and the gang of often violent criminals calling on friends and others to disregard all rules and laws to enable them to scam grants from government, rape peoples dogs, deal illicit drugs, traffic wildlife, kill people they see as trouble makers and do any other crimes they think they can get away with.
Fred Kraus is a fast worker. While it is not known if he raped little black boys in his travels to third-world countries like two of his other associates Don Broadley and Bill Branch, he has been quick to tell the world his lie about how he has discovered Pilgerus mooreae Hoser, 2014 that he has now scandalously tried to rename as Aspidomorphus dimorphus Kraus, 2025.
He has got his contacts at the sleazy Miami Herald (think Miami, think drug trafficking and other serious crimes and for good reason), who are serial offenders when it comes to publishing fake news on their website.
For the second time this year, Kraus has roped in his mates at this webzine to tell the world about his (faked) discoveries of reptiles.
Earlier in 2025, Kraus did the same thing, when he faked a discovery of a tree snake Snake Man Hoser had discovered and named 11 years earlier.
That was Charlespiersonserpens charlespiersoni Hoser, 2014 which Kraus has now claimed to have discovered eleven years later in 2025 and renamed it as Dendrelaphis atra Kraus, 2025.
So, what does all this mean?
1/ Kraus is using his alleged skills in discovering new species to scam big grants from stupid government officials who know no better (where is DOGE when you need them?).
2/ In the long term and after his mates have wasted time promulgating his illegally coined name as correct, other scientists will have to correct the scientific nomenclature and assign the correct ICZN name to the species, which is of course Pilgerus mooreae Hoser, 2014.
Alternatively, if 30 million years of reasons is not good enough, the species can be transferred to the genus Aspidomorphus in which case it becomes Aspidomorphus mooreae (Hoser, 2014).
No matter how the dice is spun, the Kraus name is an illegal and invalid junior synonym and therefore not available to zoologists as a correct scientific name.
3/ His very good mate Adam Britton is due out of jail for his anally raping people’s pet dogs in 2028 at the earliest. Now as for what raping peoples pet dogs and hiding the fact from authorities has to do with faking scientific discoveries and hiding the earlier scientific papers from readers and others, the answer is everything.
The same Kaiser et al. and Wuster et al. doctrines have been invoked by the same people for the exact same reason.
That is to dispense with all rules, norms and ethics of society and civilisation and then to dishonestly hide their most egregious actions.
Whether it is raping peoples dogs and hiding the fact, anally raping little black boys and trying to keep it out of sight of law-enforcement agencies or faking scientific discoveries and hiding the fact that someone else actually made the discovery decades ago, the acts are identical.
That is dishonestly hiding things!
Just as Donald Trump in his efforts to rename everything after America, (e.g. Gulf of Mexico) is ridiculous, so too is Kraus and his illegal attempts to rename species like Pilgerus mooreae Hoser, 2014 or Charlespiersonserpens charlespiersoni Hoser, 2014.
So how many times has the notorious Fred Kraus stolen the work of others and rebadged their discoveries as his own? No less than 12 times!
And he has scammed millions of dollars in funding from government and other benefactors in doing so!
This exactly why the University of Michigan break all the rules of ethics and decency to allow Fred Kraus to remain a tenured academic there.
