BOULENGER'S SKINK Morethia boulengeri (Ogilby, 1890)
A 10 cm skink, it occurs throughout most of Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia and adjacent areas. Males often have a reddish colour under the neck. Although found in a variety of habitats this species is most common in grassy, open woodland habitats, where it feeds on small insects. It's biology is little known.
