THREE LINED SKINK Leiolopimsa trilineata (Gray, 1838)
Common throughout colder parts of south eastern Australia this lizard averages 20 cm. This fast moving diurnal lizard prefers grassy woodland habitats where it shelters under logs and other ground litter.
Most specimens are seen during the day moving about in search of their insect diet. Little is known of the reproductive biology of this species.
