TREE DTELLA Gehyra variegata (Dumeril and Bibron, 1836)
Found throughout most drier parts of Australia, more than one species may be included here. This lizard attains 7 cm. It is arboreal along rivers and in forests. In rocky areas this lizard lives among the rock outcrops, sometimes in very high population densities. This gecko will enter houses and in country towns will commonly be found around streetlights feeding on insects at night.
