Wolfgang Wüster and his gang of thieves, have since 2009 engaged in a nefarious campaign of stealing works of legitimate scientists and rebadging it as their own. Although their first target was the Snakeman Raymond Hoser, easily the world's foremost reptile expert, the gang's list of targets has now been widened to include any scientist whose works they seek to steal.
Besides including top contemporary reptile scientists like Richard Wells, Ross Wellington, Bill McCord and others, they have now added the works of 1800's greats to the material they seek to steal and species and genera they seek to illegally coin names for.
Yes, the great Leopold Joseph Franz Johann Fitzinger and John Edward Gray have seen their works and names ripped off by the Wüster gang of thieves.
With the Wüster gang of thieves running thousands of fake online accounts including in such places as Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia and Instagram, they carpet bomb and attack those scientists who speak out against their brand of anarchy and non-stop attacks on the rules and order of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature and the governing body of the ICZN.
Using their war cry, a blog document called "Kaiser et al.", even though it was written by Wüster himself, the gang have called for a destruction of the rules of the ICZN and their own cohort to become the rulers of taxonomy and nomenclature for all of the biological sciences.
Because the rate at which they have stolen works from others in breach of copyright and other laws is so great, people are having trouble working out which names are the correct legal ones for species and which are those illegally coined ones by the Wüster gang of thieves.
