Submission of any material to Australasian Journal of
Herpetology is taken as consent to the following publishing terms and
conditions:-
I hereby agree to the
following:
- The material is original and has
not been submitted elsewhere in same or similar form.
- No one other than the author and
those directly involved in the preparation of the material (including
assistants, reviewers, proof readers, etc.) has seen the material
submitted and it is not to have been circulated widely prior to
publication as a private paper, internet document or similar, or if this
has occurred the editor is to be notified in what manner at time of
submission.
- Material submitted to Australasian
Journal of Herpetology, if published in Australasian Journal
of Herpetology, becomes copyright of Australasian Journal of
Herpetology and the publisher. This copyright includes photos.
Photos published will however become joint copyright between ourselves and
the photographer, with each party having rights to republish and/or
licence republication of the photos as they see fit. If the photographer sells
or uses the same photos after publication in Australasian Journal of
Herpetology, independently of Australasian Journal of
Herpetology we will make NO claims for rights or payment for those
photos. The Australasian Journal of Herpetology will have no
rights to republish photos outside of Australasian Journal of
Herpetology, except as reprints, or for promotional/publicity
purposes.
- Authors remain legally liable for
all material published in Australasian Journal of Herpetology
and by submitting material to Australasian Journal of Herpetology,
the author indemnifies Australasian Journal of Herpetology
against any claims that may arise from such publication.
- The editor of Australasian
Journal of Herpetology alone decides what is and is not published
in Australasian Journal of Herpetology. The editor's
decision is final.
- The editor reserves the ultimate
right to edit any material submitted in any way and for any reason, with
or without consultation with the author, and has final say on photos
published, layout and other matters of relevance.
- Material submitted to Australasian
Journal of Herpetology and it's editor is submitted with the
understanding that all care is taken with materials sent, but no responsibility
is taken for any losses or damage to materials should such occur.
- By submitting any material to Australasian
Journal of Herpetology, the author consents to all publishing
terms and conditions listed on the relevant website.
